John T. Hartman Joins Equifax as SVP - Corporate Development

ATLANTA, April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX), today announced the appointment of John T. Hartman as Senior Vice President – Corporate Development. Hartman will be a member of the company's Senior Leadership Team and will report to Chairman and CEO Richard F. Smith. His primary responsibility includes furthering the company's expansion efforts into emerging markets.

Most recently, Hartman was president of Growth Vector, an Atlanta-based company that provides advisory and implementation services to companies. He has also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Acuity Brands, and as Executive Vice President – International for BellSouth Corporation, among other senior-level roles during his career.

Hartman holds a MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Business Management/Marketing from Cornell University.
