CaseBuilder is a new platform that enhances the way employers handle their unemployment cost management through a single, user-friendly dashboard. CaseBuilder automatically collects and organizes all relevant claims information and notifies the user when an urgent response is needed, eliminating the constant stream of email notifications and requests a user typically receives. When urgent action is needed, the client can go into the system to respond to items, manage cases and view and upload documents in a timely manner and according to his or her schedule.
CaseBuilder provides users with full transparency for document management efficiency, ensuring that complete and accurate separation details are submitted while filtering out the unnecessary data that often leads to delays in the claims process. CaseBuilder also offers greater employer control, allowing users to create personal settings, select the frequency of notifications and the level of urgency required for notification, and establish guidelines for how TALX manages claim processing activities.
"CaseBuilder truly enhances our clients' unemployment claims processing by enabling them to easily manage multiple cases, upload documents, enter details and respond to urgent matters all from the same dashboard," said Anir Pradhan, senior marketing officer of TALX. "Providing for significant savings in both user time and effort, CaseBuilder's smart technology ensures that employers receive notifications for only the most urgent matters and have a user-friendly dashboard to easily and quickly respond."
TALX further enhances how its clients handle unemployment claims – improving accuracy and streamlining processes – with expanded access to SIDES (State Information Data Exchange System). A web-based system that allows electronic transmission of Unemployment Insurance (UI) information requests between state agencies, employers and third-party administrators, the SIDES project was initiated with the U.S. Department of Labor and state agencies to address the second largest cause of UI overpayments – inaccuracies and delays with separation information. Using SIDES' standardized electronic format, states, employers and third-party administrators can securely exchange quality information more quickly than the previously used and costly paper- and mail-based methods. SIDES is currently live for TALX clients in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.
"TALX works directly with states to ensure unemployment claims processing is handled as smoothly as possible, while providing employers with the information they need to effectively respond to all claims," said Pradhan. "SIDES is already live in sixteen states, and we will be adding over a dozen more to the program in the next six months."
Additionally, SIDES provides a standard claim response format that enables all parties to come to an agreement on the data required for providing a complete and effective claims response. It also provides employers with more lead time to prepare and submit employee separation details. Moreover, by reducing the need for paper documents through electronic data exchange, clients can be assured that sensitive personal data about former employees is secure.
"TALX is dedicated to providing our clients with advanced solutions to deliver high-level data and insight that streamline their processes, manage costs and improve compliance," said Dann Adams, president of TALX. "Whether developing cutting-edge technology like CaseBuilder, or working with states to help make the entire claims management process more efficient, we strive to create solutions that enhance and simplify these complicated processes. As with all our products and services, we continue to innovate to ensure that our clients get full value and maximum return on the processes and data they entrust to TALX."
TALX will be available to provide additional details about CaseBuilder and SIDES, along with its workforce analytics, payroll, HR and tax-related services at the HR Technology Conference, held in Chicago from October 8 – 10, 2012. Conference attendees are encouraged to visit Booth No. 225 to learn more.
